Not pregnant.
I realize we haven't been trying very long, but I suppose I just assumed it would come easily. Oliver tries not to show me how disappointed he is when I tell him it hasn't happened yet, but I know. You're not supposed to worry unless you've been trying for six months without success, but six months of watching my husband's eyes lose their sparkle seems an unbearable prospect.
Astoria has been distant. I can tell something is bothering her, but she keeps herself on the go so that I don't have the opportunity to talk to her about it. Must put my foot down. I miss my friend.
