Goodbye muscles!

So two months ago I could pretty easily do 20 solid, good form push ups.  Now I can't even do one, and can barely manage ten on-your-knees types. 
Is that normal? Cuz to me it seems awfully fast, especially when I hardly did any exercise before, so there wasnt that far for it to drop.
Hmmmmm gotta get to the gym!
