Hermetica, Thelema, Strega, & GD~
Well, I have purchased Aliester Crowley's " The Holy Books of Thelema" figured if im going to look into it, why not start with the man's own written word-figured like this see what he thinks and start from there-And at the bookstore-we are RPL-ing and well-it was the only one on the shelf-SO! i was like i m getting it and that is that-=)
I also picked up a book entitled "offerings to Isis" by an Isodora something or another-Since i know that Isis came to Rome-I figured let 's get a book and see-granted Im sure it is on the modern worship of Isis but still something to look into as i m interested-As i know that Roman Isis was quite popular in Rome and the ancient world-
Being interested in Isis and so fourth i have ordered and gottn the Golden Ass-which the roman author escapes me at the moment-since that novel is a first hand account of being an in the cult of Isis i figured it would be a great place to read and see how the romans worked it-
Since Matthew has a love of the Ancient Egyptians-and got wicked pissed off at the culture dude that like Prayed to Allah in Tut's tomb-Matt was pissed saying how disrepectful that was-So with his love of the egyptians, i figured well Isis i have been drawn too, why not learn alil more about this goddess of magic, life, and so fourth and i have always dug Ma'at-but that is about it never really felt a call from the mythos nor From any of the other gods-
