i laughed out loud when i read this from my mom about dad's new purchase:

besides the financial aspect of it, she's mad cuz they're packing up to leave for florida in a week and have to winterize all the boats. plus she's going to be furnishing their new house in florida which is quite a bit bigger than the old and she'd prefer to not have to do it at thrift shops like she did the old house. my mother is a riot. my parents are a riot.
