OSCAR NOMINATIONS
The Best Picture nominees are pretty weak this year. How the hell did a movie like Inglourious Basterds get nominated? It was a decent flick, but definitely not Oscar worthy. Same goes for Avatar, which should get best cinematography and/or visual effects, but not best picture. The Blind Side should not be up for best picture either. It is just another story about some white person helping out poor unfortunate minorities. That type of movie has been done to death, and hell, it is the same basic premise for Avatar!
