This article at Slate has an interesting point about whether having free erotica float to the top of the Kindle best seller charts (because it's often free and very quick reads, a distinction shared only by romance) is going to lead to a backlash from the right. Unfortunately, that point is buried in some random blather about "hardcore pornography for men" that I have never seen in the store. It basically needed to be about four times longer.
