i has a new fandom, yay!
Um, guys? I just saw Inception and ASLGSFKDSFVKSDFVGALKSDFLSDFGSDFG OH MY FUCKING GOD HOW CAN A MOVIE BE SO AWESOME? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. I loved it so, so much omfg. (I have no idea why, though. It just... really worked for me somehow. God.) All the actors were glorious (I'm really loving DiCaprio's work these days. He sort of blows me away every single fucking time), the editing and the way the movie was shot and all that jazz was brilliant, and, well, I really, really, really loved the plot. ♥ AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE MUSIC OH SWEET JESUS THE MUSIC WAS SO FANTASTIC OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD. I FUCKING WORSHIP HANS ZIMMER. *flails*
ALSO. WHY HAVE I NOT BEEN INFORMED OF HOW FABULOUS JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT LOOKS IN A SUIT? I KEPT HAVING THESE SMALL HEART ATTACKS EVERY TIME HE WAS ON SCREEN BECAUSE HE. JUST. LOOKED. SO. RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. And I don't usually like slicked-back hair 'cause it looks so sleazy somehow, but JESUS CHRIST JGL JUST LOOKED AMAZING. I'm having a crisis over here, guys! Why does he look so good? Why?!
AND. ANDANDAND. ARTHUR/EAMES, Y/Y? I actually went in totally expecting to ship them (because so many other people do omg why), and even though they didn't exactly have that many shippy scenes I still saw the potential, and the more I think about them the more I really do ship them. I'm guessing by the time I see the movie again (which will hopefully be next week because IT IS PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY OMG IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO WAIT LONGER THAN THAT, OKAY?) I'll be this crazy shipper who sees the two of them standing side by side as proof that they're madly in love with each other.
BUTBUTBUT. DOES EAMES REALLY CALL ARTHUR 'DARLING' WHEN THEY'RE IN THE WAREHOUSE AND EAMES SHOWS OFF HIS GRENADE LAUNCHER TO ARTHUR? 'CAUSE IMDB SAYS HE DOES, MY SISTER JUST SAID THAT HE DOES (even though she completely missed it), BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER HEARING ANYTHING OF THE SORT AND IT'S BUGGING THE HELL OUT OF ME.
