My friend
Vanilla
invited a group of friends over to her apartment for a "Hogwarts meetup".
Of course we were more than happy to attend! ;)
On February 18, 2017 I traveled to Vanillas apartment together with Kaninchenherz and
teaspoon-and-candy.
Another girl joined as well.
Kaninchenherz wrote a
blog post about the event, too.
Vanilla had spent a lot of time with preparations and you could really see that:
She had decorated the walls at the entrance with "Wanted" posters of several Hogwarts characters.
In the bathroom Moaning Myrtle (die maulende Myrte) was watching you from behind a shelf.
And she had prepared Hogwarts-related food, too!
We were very excited to discover all the details. ^__^
We started with food and drinks:
Vanilla had made pumpkin pastries and chocolate muffins.
There was pumpkin juice, apple juice and mineral water.
The pink drink was with alcohol.
Kaninchenherz and me used the opportunity to wear our newly purchased Hogwarts skirts by Violet Fane.
We dressed as pupils of Hogwarts school.
We both belong to Hufflepuff house, but I bought the wine red colorway of the skirt
because I already have a yellow skirt, but did not have a wine red skirt so far.

We played a game, the
Harry Potter Edition of Trivial Pursuit.
The game is about answering questions about the Harry Potter movies to move ahead on the board.
The questions were really challenging, I liked the game very much!
Then it was time for food, again. ;)
We had pumpkin soup, meat balls, onigiri (rice balls) and different kind of dips as main dish.
We also had popcorn, candy sticks, jelly beans and more as snacks.
Everything tasted great! We ate, talked and watched some of the Harry Potter movies in parallel.
Vanilla even made little boxes with a card and a chocolate frog. They looked just like in the movie! ^_^
It was a really nice meetup and a highlight for me.
I really enjoyed to dive into the Harry Potter fandom with my friends for one day. ;)
