I had a job interview today, and as I was visiting with Coco afterward, an ambulance and fire rescue truck pulled up.  I think I seem to attract them, because since I moved to Utah that's the second or third time that I've been in a place where they needed to come haulin in.  And I have only been here ... three weeks lol!  Anyway, I hope whoever they came for is ok :)  And I am glad it wasn't for me or Coco!

I went to meet my friend for our walk tonight (we've been trying to get together two or three times a week to walk together at Sugarhouse Park) but she didn't realize that it was time already and said she wouldn't be able to make it, as she was in the middle of something.  I didn't mind though, and still walked.  I didn't have my kids with me this time, which is a first, they usually go with me because it's always worked that when I've gone walking, Kenny's out with a friend or something.  Anyway, I walked a little more than I normally would have if they were with me and I can really feel it in my legs!  Tomorrow we're going to take a walk to the library (Anderson-Foothill for those familiar with the area) and return some books and get new ones for the kiddos.  I still have my stack (I check out like... eleventy books at a time LOL) so I don't need any yet.  But the kids, holy man, they are FLYING through their books!  I'm impressed, they are doing an awesome job!  I'm so glad that they love to read.  Currently, the three of us are reading a book called The Trouble With Jenny's Ear that JD recommended to us.  We're only on chapter four, but we are enjoying it.  We're all reading it together, at bedtime.  LOL I make it sound like we've been doing it for days.  I just decided tonight that the girls need to go to bed earlier, because they stay up late reading.  So I told them tonight that bedtime is earlier so that they can stay up reading if they want, which usually puts them to sleep.  Anyway, tonight we stared Jenny's Ear, and I hope to read to them every night until it's done, and then we'll start a new chapter book.  Jessica is also just getting in to Judy Blume books.  Remember her?  I LOVED her as a kid!  She just read a book that I'd never read of hers called Cool Zone and the Pain and the Great One.  And now she is reading Iggy's house, which I loved when I was little.  Jennifer is reading a book called Annie and Simon, but I'm not sure what that one is about as I haven't read it yet.  Maybe I'll take a look at it tomorrow :)  And Matthew's been getting picture books, as he loves to "read" as well.  I love it when I tell him to read to me, and he'll plop down in front of me with his book and make up baby talk words like he's really reading.  He even follows along with his finger sometimes!  Yes indeedy-do, I have some healthy readers here, which makes me pleased as punchy-pie!

That's about all I can think of to say for now.  We have pretty mundane lives around here, LOL, but at least you can be a part of it by reading it!

Em, if you're reading this, if you get lonely while Bryan is gone, call me up, we can go hang out and play, or make baby stuff, or whatever!
