It's almost been 3 months but I'm finally back to working 5 days a week. It's a nice change from the 7 day/75 hour weeks.
The assistant manager is a drama queen but I've finally figured him out. He's great fun to mind-fuck.
His latest thing is the "bag check". Because things have gone missing at the restaurant all employees are now subjected to having our bags checked (randomly) before we leave.
Hey, whatever floats his boat.
I'm now bringing my um, er, "toys" to work.
In a Zip-loc bag.
With extra batteries.
Might as well give him something to find...
It's not an invasion of privacy issue. I know that a couple of grill guys have been helping themselves to product but I've never been able to prove it without a doubt. Neither has management, so to make it seem like management isn't just targeting the suspects, they're implementing this for all staff so it's no biggie.
Hmmmmm, besides packing the "toys" and extra "feminine products" I could use some ideas as to what else I should pack.
Any ideas?
Anyone?
"Bueller...?"
