tl;dr Persona question~
HAAYYY. Just so all of you know, I'm already 55 hours into Persona 4. So that's all I've had on the brain lately. Persona 4 and fucking Kanji's epic moe-ness. But I have a kind of overthinky question for any of you familiar with the Personaverse. Ask your friends. I'm really curious.
I've been thinking about how Persona 3, 4, and Trinity Soul all supposedly take place in the same universe, yet the inital acquisition and then summoning of persona is all so different. (P3 is first in the timeline, so I'll use it for the example.) So, say, if characters from the other two had been around during the events of P3 (Akihiko doesn't count), would they have had "the potential"? Would they have to use evokers? Or are their persona of the same species, but a different breed (so to speak), with a whole different set of rules? Are the circumstances of all the characters' persona dependent on the circumstances surrounding them? (Like, the persona "comes to be" in a way most convenient and befitting to fighting in the dark hour/ hanging inside of TVs/ doing whatever the hell happened in Trinity Soul.) Um... that was all really wordy, so I guess I can sum it up as: If Yousuke were on Port Island two (or whatever) years before, would he have to summon Jiraiya with an evoker because that's the way shit unfolds there, or would he still have to fight his darker half to conquer the power because that's just how his persona works? SO MANY QUESTIONS. Oh~ how I long for the days of a simpler Persona. A Persona where Kazuma Kaneko is like "I'm going to put HEARTS on her BOOBS and you're going to LIKE IT" and we all did because it was kind of cool even though it was pretty gay. Sigh~~~

But seriously, P4 is awesome. I want a Kou/Daisuke/MC threesome. No that anon request totally wasn't me. Totally. Totally.
