Reunion
The platform was packed with chattering, rushing, hugging kids and chattering, rushing, hugging parents saying goodbye to their offspring with both sadness and relief. Remy had said his own goodbyes at least twenty minutes beforehand and was now stood anxiously beside the carriage he had texted Danny to say he would be besides. After six weeks of late night phone calls, and lack of meetings, he was absolutely dying to see his boyfriend once more.
Matthieu was safely stowed on the train, his parents were gone, and Remy was fidgety, checking his watch over and over again, shifting his weight and trying not to get into any lengthy conversations with friends, in case he missed the slender boy. Was he coming back? What if he'd got ill again and stayed off? The one time Remy was early for something, and Danny wasn't there! How stressful!
