Following on from the Geoffrey/Danny smut. Consequences. Oooh.
They had lived together for three years now, just under, and this was the first time that Remy had not been wholly pleased to return home from one of his expeditions. He was ecstatic, of course, to finally be returning to his boyfriend after two and a half months - but there was a nagging, aching part of his stomach that firmly bogged him down with the terrifying thought of "What if he doesn't want to stay my boyfriend any more?". They had, after all, been on a break, and Remy did not have any clue as to how Danny might feel upon his return.
Nervously, Remy touched his wand to the front door knob, undoing the protective charms they always set, and let himself inside. The heavy wooden door closed itself behind him, and Remy took a breath just as Pepper barrelled into him in paroxyms of doggy delight at having his master home.
The blond man petted his puppy warmly, kneeling and rubbing ears, then standing to see if perhaps he was alone after all.
"Dan...?" He started down the hall, heading first to the bedroom to dump his bag, and see if the other man was in the flat at all. "Baby, I'm home."
