Date: 10 years after finishing Hogwarts, June.

The working day had ended roughly half an hour ago, so Remy was winding his way home amidst the London traffic, weaving in and out as he wandered back towards Soho and the home he shared with Danny. He'd been a cursebreaker travelling abroad for almost ten years now, but the last three months he'd been spent settling in to a more routine job, breaking curses in the Department of Mysteries for the Ministry. They had a baby on the way now, carried by a surrogate, and Remy had decided to stay in London to make sure he would be around for the new arrival. After all, it would be unfair to be in Chile if Danny was at home looking after a colicky baby or somesuch.
He slung his rucksack over his shoulder, beginning to turn towards Oxford Street, and one of the lanes that would lead him into Soho. It was a gorgeously warm evening, and he was in a good mood - a rather good way to end the day.
