Event #2: Power Outages
Citizens across Romdeau will start to experience short power outages, from their homes, work and school for an entire week.
They will start in the high class sections, affecting Sectors 1-2 (Upper class) on Tuesday. During this time, power outages will be last about 2 minutes and 17 seconds. People using computers will lose any information not saved and cell phones will die mid-conversation. It will take about an hour to get the general main frame up and running again.
Sectors 3-4 (Middle class) will experience them on Wednesday and Thursday. During this time, power outages will be last about 2 minutes and 17 seconds. People using computers will lose any information not saved and cell phones will die mid-conversation. It will take about about two hours to get the general main frame up and running again. Around midnight PST, it will happen again. By Friday, it will become a frequent thing all the way until Sunday, July 26th.
Sectors 5-6 (Lower Class & Immigration Sector) will experience them from Friday until Saturday. It will start about 2 minutes and 17 seconds and will last for an entire hour at length. It will take about three hours to get turned on and then at midnight, the entire power area will go down for a complete 24 hours.
During the power outages, any and all technology will start to mal-function. Computers will glitch, perhaps even some cords will spark where they're plugged into the wall.
Cell phones will glitch, drop calls and have general dead zones for long periods of time periodically throughout the week.
Disposal Units will be set out on over time, to hunt down and kill Autoraves infected with Cogito Virus during these special times of need.
Seeing as how some Muns are on hiatus or vacation, the main two unit members working will be Skull & Yoite. For the duration of the week, they will be in charge of their individual units, each consisting of 4-6 NPCed party members. They will also be placed together to form a "special" back up unit, responsible for for working together one-on-one.
Anyone working in the Security Breauru will also be working over time, trying to locate problems and talk to their superiors. They can report information being lost, viruses trying to escape fire walls, copy machines breaking down, data being lost, etc. General chaos should ensue.
Anyone working in the Health & Welfare Department will be trying to contact the Security Breauru without fail. They will be in contact with every head of department working under the Regent via computer screens from their offices and communication devices, when they work.
Model citizens will be advised to keep calm, proceed with their regularly scheduled lives and try not to mind the temporary service interuptions they will be experiencing.
Students might be advised to not walk home along, as it might not be safe with patches of black outs throughout the city.
