Chapter 3
At the rehearsal, Nino and Jun did not greet each other, most likely from the tension that occurred recently between them, which was nothing but a misunderstanding.
“Jun are you still mad at Nino?” Aiba asks concerned.
“Not really, I just have something on my mind right now.” Jun says.
“What’s the problem?” Aiba questions more.
“Toma broke up with me.” Jun said. He sees Nino approaching them with the others not far behind.
“Oh men, that’s really a problem. Are you okay?” Aiba asks compassionately towards his band member.
“I’m okay” Jun says with an unreadable face as he approaches the other members for their practice.
“Jun, I heard you and Toma broke up.” Nino asks as he and Jun head back to the change rooms from their practice.
“Yeah” Jun says bluntly.
“Are you okay?” Nino asks with concern in his eyes.
“Yes. Can you just leave me alone for a while?” Jun pleas and Nino follows the request and walks away. Jun watches him off with loneliness in his eyes.

Nino thinks that Toma can bring back Jun’s smile again so he plans to talk to Toma about it. After several tries Nino could not reach Toma through his phone. So he called up Ryo instead since he always keeps track of all the members in the Elite.
“Moshi, Moshi” Ryo answers.
“Hello Ryo-chan this is Nino-san can I talk to you now.” Nino asks.
“Yah, I’d rather talk to you than watch these two love birds in front of me.” Ryo says over the phone.
“Do you know how to contact Toma-chan?” Nino gets straight to the point.
“Why? Do you need to see Toma in particular?” As if already knowing the reason for the request, but this is expected by Ryo who is known to be all knowing especially when it deals with the Elite.
“I just need to talk to him regarding Jun-san.” Nino replied to Ryo.
“Okay, we will meet you in an hour in the coffee shop near the agency.” Then Ryo hung up the phone. Nino can tell that something is up with the way Ryo-chan was talking to him over the phone.
Nino is the first one to arrive at the coffee shop. As he grabs a seat he rethinks his plan, not knowing if what he is doing is right. He doesn’t want Jun and Toma to get back together but he doesn’t want Jun to be miserable either.
“Hi, Nino-kun, how are you?” Ryo greets him, Toma just nods at him.
“Toma, I heard that you and Jun broke-up, can you reconsider it again.” Nino pleas.
“Why are you asking me this? What is your concern with it?” Toma says teary eyed.
“We’ll I see that Jun is very hurt and been in this bad mood lately” Nino answers back.
“The break up isn’t the reason why he is in a bad mood.” Toma says with conviction.
“Then what’s causing the sadness we see in his eyes.” Nino states.
“Do you like Jun?” Toma asks Nino. With such an unexpected questions Nino automatically responded with a defensive tone. “What kind of question is that? This has nothing to do with the matter.”
“Yes it does. Just tell me the truth.” Toma said wanting a clarification.
“Are you jealous of us being close? That I’m the only one that has that kind of relationship with him.” Nino defended against Toma.
“Why are you avoiding my question? Just answer…do you love Jun?” Toma repeated his question.
“Ah……yes, not only have I liked him, I …. Love him. But that’s not the issue here; he is devastated from your breakup right?” Nino said making him see his point of view.
“No, I’m not the reason why he is devastated. You are! He has liked you since forever…you are the reason why he can’t fall for me.” Toma said to Nino. Nino can’t believe what he is hearing, that Jun loves him.
“What are you planning to do?” Ryo asks openly.
“I don’t know… I’ve also loved him forever but because you are in his life I tried not to be close to him. Toma you’re my friend also and you know that I don’t want to hurt you.” His eyes landed at Toma.
“I know that you are my friend and I’m sorry that I made you miserable by taking Jun away from you for such a long time. Even I knew that he loves you but I still tried to take it away from you. But now I realized that being selfish only made you suffer and that is way I broke up with him. You are now both free to be together.” Toma said and they hugged each other.
“Now that’s settled let’s get down to business.” Ryo says to the two.
“What business?” Nino questions the Elite member.
“He kind of wants to be cupid again.” Toma said with a smile.
“Hey this is our business to make our fellow members happy.” Ryo said seriously.
“Oh, here are the rest of our comrades, Pi and Jin.” Ryo said.
“We’re here to help, it’s payback time.” Pi said while hugging Jin.
“Okay this is what we are going to do, but we need a senpai to do this for us.” Ryo says.
“Takki is available and he will do it for us.” Yamapi offers.
“Why do you always mention Takki-kun?” Jin says with a pout on his lips showing jealousy.
“Don’t be jealous, we’re only brothers and I know who he really has eyes on.” Yamapi said pointing to someone who isn’t looking at them.
“Okay, I got it.” Ryo says.
