Even though this New Year's Eve wasn't particularly eventful or romantic in the least, it was a pretty fun way to start 2005. I went to a couple parties with Jenn and Jaime and we met up with Shelby at the second one. It was nice catching up with people I hadn't seen since high school.
After deciding we didn't want to begin our new year watching drunk people cavorting around the room, Jenn, Jaime, Shelby, and I went to the Rocky parking lot and had a dance party. Then we went to Jenn's house and played board games and drank mint hot chocolate (aka chocolate hot mint).
No swanky parties, huge celebrations, midnight kisses, or confetti, but it was a terrific start nonetheless.
