yesterday
i got up really early cauz i had to be into work at 10:30. i was dreading going in so early but it was actually the easiest day of my life. there was NO ONE there so i basically just sat around the whole time and talked with the only other hostess i didnt meet yet, Kristine. i also met a new server there, Matt. he has a nextel too so he put his direct connect number in my phone and told me to call him later after work. i was told i could leave around like 2 so i left and came home, showered, and got ready to go out again with either Toni or Kristine, whichever called me first. Toni called and asked to go out to lunch but i had already eaten so i said we should go out for dinner and i'd call her later. about a half hour later Kristine called and asked if i still wanted to do something and i said yeah so she said she was gonna go home and get ready then call me. this is where the big problem happened lol. i waited about an hour and a half for Kris to call me and she didnt so i called Toni and told her i'd go out to dinner and for her to pick a place. she picked an italian restaurant up at broadway and said she was gonna go shower and then she'd call me. right after i hung up with her Kris called me and told me she was on her way to my house. so, i had to call Toni back and tell her i couldnt go because Kristine was already on her way over to my house. she said it was okay, but i felt really bad, like i was ditching her or something. i just felt like i hadnt hung out with Kristine before so i should hang out with her and see how things go and maybe make a new friend, i could probably just hang out with Toni anytime. anyway, so Kristine came over, met my nana, then took me out. we drove all the way up to North Myrtle Beach so we could pick up her friend then to another friends house to pick him up then to yet another friends house to pick him up. in short, i was stuck in the middle of two guys in the back of a Jeep and i didnt know anyone! i felt really awkward and i wasnt talking much. i love that Kristine was trying to help me meet new people but i'm really not into hanging out with groups of people i dont know. i felt so weird. so after about 2 hours of being in the car with them i asked Kristine to drop me off so i could come home and shower and whatever, plus i wasn't having too much fun. i kinda wish me and her could've just hung out and gone for food or something, the kinds of things i used to do in NY with my friends. its like they dont do anything the same here. in some ways its cool, in others its not.
anyway, after i got dropped off i went out to get myself some mcdonalds (yeah so much for the damn diet) and called Toni to say hi and tell her about my not so amazing night, then two-wayed Matt. he was watching tv or something and said he'd call me back later so around 10 i got a two-way and we ended up talking for like an hour about like everything. he's a really cool guy i think and we're possibly going to hang out and go to the movies today or something. hey, i need to have a life lol.
well that was everything really. it's breakfast time so i'm outta here.
