What are you up to? Any writing going on in your neck of the woods? I'm actually trying to write something for your sex-on-the-beach-challenge. It's going to be more of a sex-on-the-pool-fic, and I think I'm kind of crazy for writing this pairing, but I just couldn't resist.
Aside from that, I'm busy watching the European Soccer Championship on TV (aka hot guys in shorts running across a field), AND I finally started watching "Firefly" and got sucked in. And now I'm thinking far too much about hot spaceship slash. Maybe I'll even write some.
I haven't ever gotten into Firefly. I might watch it someday, but I'm just a little wary of all things Joss Whedon after my Buffy experience. Hee. But yay for more writing!

Buffy is so not my cup of tea, either. But Firefly is more like, I don't know, something between Deadwood and Stargate Atlantis, only a lot funnier, with heavy UST between delicious boys, and some really decent and interesting female characters. AND - since it was canceled after one season - you can practically watch the whole series in one weekend.
But oh, there's just too much worth watching. And too little time. Too bad I don't get paid for watching tv shows :-)
See, I loved Buffy until I didn't, and I can put a whole lot of blame for that directly at Joss's feet. So I'm bitter. I may some day get around to Firefly, as lots of people have recommended it and promise me that thirteen episodes doesn't give him enough time to fuck me over. Hee.
Right now I'm in the middle of "Friday Night Lights", "Homicide" and "Dead Like Me". Sheesh. It's a good thing it's summer hiatus.
Of course Nora would invite Kevin's ex to his birthday party :-)
