Spent the day at the zoo with four kidlets, three of them not my own. One of whom is a drama queen (at age seven!), one of whom didn't want to listen, one of whom kept telling me all about how he could run the zoo and then my kid, who was mostly quiet. It was 50 degrees and raining. And the lady driving one of the school buses was an old employee of mine. It's weird being called by my maiden name after almost 10 years.
I have about an hour to kill before I have to go decorate and get ready for the dance so I'm stocking up on caffeine, sugar and salt. Hee. It might be nearing that time of the month for me. After the dance, I have to wrap a crapload of baby shower gifts and then collapse into a heap. Before I do that, I might soak in a hot bath or just stand under a hot shower for a while. Especially if I'm still frozen from the zoo.
This weekend they're finally merging our electronic medical records system. I'm expecting a huge clusterfuck. And a whole lot of phone calls at home. Hee. Also must run to Target and get Transformer goody bag bags. And look into cloning. Just in general, not at Target.
