I've known her since Dawson's really though she was around before then

I have always been here. *smooch*

I love our comm, too. I wish fandom were a little more participatory right now, but it sill fills me with joy every time we get something posted.

Hee! You have! *twirls you*

Fandom needs to make with the writing and the porn. LJ was gone last night. They should have all written like crazy writing things and flooded our flist this morning with boozy fic and obscure fandom fic and just other stuff to make me happy. They're mean.

I don't think they're mean. I just think they're misguided. They should learn from your good example and make with the porn.

If they're withholding it *deliberately* though, they're MEAN. Hee.

It's always kind of fun to hear about the stuff that's outside the normal LJ sphere. People often surprise you.

I actually knew most of this already, but this I did not know:

I also met some of the cast of Buffy at a posting board party and that was fun

You are so adverse to meeting the actors in person I never would have suspected you met any from your fandoms. I take it JM wasn't there so it cut down on the crazy? ;)

I also have this thing about trivia and my brain is a repository for useless knowledge that no one needs. I have an insanely good memory for shit like that and a crap one for real things like geography.

Ditto. I get bummed at times that I don't have a better knowledge of history, geography, science, etc. However, a co-worker didn't know where the Czech Republic was a couple weeks ago and that made me feel a bit better. :)

It's actually one of the things that *made* me so against meeting actors. ASH was amazingly nice, as was Alyson Hannigan and Joss Whedon and most everyone else that I was able to meet, but it changed how I saw them (OMG, they're *real* people) and I had a hard time writing Buffy after that. It was a fun event and I'm glad I went, but it did color the rest of the series for me.

Amusingly, right after I wrote this, my husband send me a tetris type game with the US states/map. He's so *mean*.
