How Do You Feel About Zoos?
I think zoos serve a purpose. Now, do I think all zoos should be required to pass certain laws/restrictions/stipulations to run? Yes. I remember when I was a kid and every animal was in cages. Nowadays the trend toward a more natural environment for the animals seems like it lessens some of the horribleness. They're not perfect. They're probably not even good in the grand scheme of things but, for me, as a kid and as a parent having the opportunity to see these great animals close up was an amazing thing.
What Could You Not Live Without? What Could You Live Without?
I know they're thinking in terms of, like, ~things and stuff, but I don't know. You live without whatever you have to, you know? Unless it's air, food, water, and shelter of some sort? You can live without anything. I mean, yeah, I'd MISS stuff, but I can live without it.
What Are Your Experiences With Severe Weather?
Most of the places I've lived have been pretty temperate in the weather. The most extreme heat I lived in was when we lived in the Mojave Desert. First day there it was 114 degrees. It never seemed super hot to my recollection, but it could be I was 10-12 year old and blissfully unaware of such things. The most humid was when I lived in south Texas and I do not like humidity. Visiting Florida in August and September - also humid. Coldest has been these past few years as far as living for an extended period of time (week or more). We used to go places that were colder, but only for short trips on purpose.
