Shhhh... Mike is sleeping;)

Hello all:) Been a few weeks since my last entry and as per usual, not much has happened. I'll break things down to avoid rambling.

Classes: Going extremely well. Writing is improving daily. Thesis is coming along fine.

Teaching: Going extremely well. Students are still very bright and attentive. Writing center still sucks unless I have appointments. Appointments are wonderful, I really enjoy the one-on-one time with students. (Personal goal: convert at least two of my students to some sort of English or Philosophy majors: haven't done so yet, but I've got some leads.)

Wedding Planning: Need to get my girls together to buy dresses. Other than this, we're completely on schedule.

Relationship: Wonderful. Dare I say perfect?

Friends: Dan and Kendra got married this past Saturday! It was amazing! Beautiful ceremony, fun reception, lots of drinking and dancing. There was some drama amongst some party guests, but all in all everyone chilled and had a good time. Not much in other friends' news, except my good friend Trish is coming home for good this december (she recently moved to Texas of all places). I'm so excited; I miss her so much.

Birthday: Mike and I went to my mom and dad's house on Sunday to celebrate my birthday. (It was Saturday, but we had the wedding to go to.) Got some really awesome stuff and my dad made the best dessert ever. Ever:) I had a really nice time, and it's nice that my parents finally like a guy that I've brought home (Clarification: not that they hated the other guys, just that they love mike and they think he and I are the best suited, thusly they aren't mean to him like they were to a few of the others. Sorry, guys.)

Other stuff: I just got done putting together my new desk:) I haven't had a work space since June and for those of you who know how anal retentive I am, this has been driving me insane. It's so pretty:) I can't wait to actually use it.

Tomorrow: Going from 2 until 7, so a long afternoon, but a short day (all in all). My friend Sarah (who plays in the St. Louis symphony) has a free concert tomorrow night, and I'm looking forward to that.
