Spring Break?
So... I hate the fact that I never seem to get a spring break. Oh, they're scheduled by the university; I technically do get one. Does it count when you spend most of break working (including the weekend) and doing homework? Methinks not. I'm crabby. Miss my guy.
Anyway, on the flip side, I did receive some good news yesterday. I am officially the newest TA at SIUE. Woo hoo:) This means I get to teach inept freshman how to write, and I must work in the writing center. At least I don't have to make any more tuition payments. And I don't have to work at the hospital anymore. That fact alone makes the whole thing worth it.
Got to do more homework tonight. As much as I got done over break, there is still more to be done (story of my life.) Luckily, as long as I keep to the study schedule I've made for myself, all the work that needs to be completed by the end of the semester will be done by the end of next week. This is nice. Must stay disciplined and not sneak off to South County and avoid working... as tempting as that thought is.
