Update
So... its been a long long time since I wrote anything on here, and I figured it was time for an update.
1) Mike and I have been happily married for a year and 8 days:)
2) I got a new job in April. I'm an editor at a publishing house in west county, stl. My company published medical/health/legal/coding textbooks although all the authors I handle are medical. It is fun work for someone anal-retentive (like me!) and it is kind of what I got my degrees for. Now, if we had a literary publishing house in STL that would better, but we take what we can get. But, during the down time at work I have time to work on my own writing which was my goal for any job anyway.
3) Our apartment building is being sold:( Since we are unsure if we'll have to move anyway, we're looking at houses in STL. It just seems stupid to move into another apartment just to move into a house a few months later, so we cut out the middleman. I'm kind of sad about the whole thing... I love that apartment. And I hate moving.
4) We've traveled a few places: Mexico for our honeymoon and Pittsburgh for Jon and Shannon's wedding reception.
5) We bought a Wii!
6) Mike and I joined an Ultimate Frisbee league and we play every week this summer at Tower Grove Park. I haven't played ultimate since College. It is a lot of fun!
Other than the things listed above, there really isn't anything new going on besides the usual stuff. I go to work, I come home, I hang out with friends, I work on stories, I work on other projects... my life is pretty full.
Anyway, end of update. I will try to write more regularly. (I write that at the end of every entry... I mean it this time though!)
