What is the value of truth when weighed against an entire relationship built on a web of lies?

The philosopher Giovanni Vico used this statement to sum up his principle that one can know with certainty only what they have created themself. The ideas of truth and identity as a process where one helps define the other seemed to apply to Natasha’s situation.
