Mutu out for Austria
Mutu's officially left camp and flown back to Firenze, where he's going to have an operation on his knee. He's been feeling pain for at least the last week, but up until this morning was planning to play through it.
About the only people seeing the upside of this are the ones whose names start with "Ma- Nicu-", since either Max Nicu or Marius Niculae will presumably start up front tonight along with Marica and Bucur. (Contra will be captain, natch.)
Kickoff is at 19:30 GMT - I'll put up an LR thread later.
(I had a faint hope that this was a particularly twisted April Fool, but it's well past noon in Romania by now... damn.)
