A Dangerous Individual--Look out!

May 24, 2012 17:17

Today I was at Walmart and decided to buy my dad a shotgun for his house.  It took forever and the background check seemed to go on and on.  As time went by more people came to be served.  Then the man behind the counter turned to me with a BOOK of papers and told me he could not sell me a gun; that there were papers indicating i was a dangerous individual.  People I knew took steps back, away from me.  Before J and I were married and he used to delight in getting me drunk and arrested, I threw my cellphone against the wall because he was always taking it away from me to call the police for some new lie that made me sit, confused and utterly humiliated, behind bars.  Turns out one of those times he had me arrested for assault.  He got me a lawyer and I thought it was over.  Turns out, though, that he merely got me to sign papers Nolo Contendre.....No contest......assault.  Therefore, I am a dangerous individual and everyone at that store believed I was a horrible criminal.  I haven't been so humiliated in years.  I knew the BEAST was up to something.  Now I am out back by the little fire pit, with a nice fire (being a fire sign I am good with nice fires) trying to console myself that I'm not really worthless and my life is worth one more day.  Right now I just want to die.
