It just seemed to go with James for some reason. Besides, the two of them were quite put-out and pouting that I hadn't used then yet, so it worked out quite well.

The whole time after I had seen the prompt table I had wondered what a syllabary might be. Now I know. A very moving drabble.

I remembered from HBP but double-checked Lexicon just to be sure.

I wondered how runes and symbols might work for this, and this is what came forth.

Have a lovely holiday, veradee!

It's difficult for me to like these two, but you almost manage it. Nice job!

I'm glad--they are one of my personal favourite pairings. (I know it's a lot for hard-core Snape fans to like James at all.)

LOL! That was the most difficult prompt -- it was your idea -- and it's amusing that you ended up with it in the end. Well, it's increased my vocabulary, anyway!

Adorable drabble. Ruby and topaz? Very Gryffindor! *nods in approval*

I felt sort of odd using the topaz, given that I knew you were using it in a different context, but I blanked on another gem to use. Not enough time to research it more, ha ha!

Thanks for all you've done in the past several days. It's amazing to watch the variety of things that go up here.

*holiday hugs*
