Prompt: #101, simmering cauldrons
Looking around at all the simmering cauldrons, Arthur felt he had bitten off more than he could chew. The spuds were still rock-hard, and he was sure that gravy shouldn’t bubble like that.
“Are you sure you don’t need a hand?” Molly asked, sticking her head round the door.
“Absolutely not,” Arthur replied. “This is my present to you, doing the Christmas dinner. Put your feet up and listen to Celestina.”
Molly smiled and blew a kiss. “Thanks.”
A subtle wave of her wand and everything was put right. Arthur would never know, and dinner would be edible after all.
