I thought it happened just after the war, yes. Perhaps Hermione went back in time to try to and save Severus--but you can't change the past...futile, really.

I just thought I'd stick up for Ron a bit, though too -- to balance things out. But, yeah, Hermione's sadness is quite evident in this. Nicely done. :)

She's just returned from going back in time to save Snape. But it didn't work...he still died. She can't change the outcome, because it has already happened :(
