[Near that very door sat a rather tall man with white hair and pale complexion. He looked of Asian decent with his slanted blue eyes, which of current was hidden behind a pair of dark caramel colored sunglasses. And although he was listening to music through the small buds in his ears and physically looking like a teenager staring dazed at the ceiling he was actually very aware to his surroundings ( ... )

[This was exactly the sort of situation Atem did not want to be in. It was most likely her own fault for lowering her guard enough to be swept onto the train but that didn't make it any easier to accept. Being a public spectacle in this manner was not acceptable.

Furthermore, someone coming to her rescue was less than that. She didn't need help. The man holding on to her didn't seem to heed the young man's advice, nor did he seem to be of the friendly variety.

With no more time to waste, Atem raised her opposite arm, blindsiding the other with the edge of her Duel Disk to his throat. Once he went down she glared at him.] Not a wise decision.

[And after saying so she turned to the other who had stepped in, slightly wary and still tense. It was written all over her body language. She suddenly just wanted to be back at the garden.]

[The young man whistled as he watched the girl before him take down a man twice her size at least.] "You know violence is not the answer."[ Yes, he was lecturing her. Although he did have an amused expression on his face as he did. He went over and helped the man up and directed him silently to the crowd behind him which grabbed him and moved him away from the girl.]

[He then turned back to Atem and looked her over from her spectacular hair style to the tight leather clothes she chose to adorn herself in. For someone who didn't like attention she sure dressed like the complete opposite.]

"Who are you?"

[One eyebrow arched at the short lecture. No, violence wasn't the answer. Any other time she might have agreed and was silently thankful that Yuugi was nowhere nearby. Not right now, however.

Being looked at by him didn't make matters any better. She folded her arms over her stomach, standing straight and tall and proud.]

My name is Atem. Who are you? [Her tone was just as stern as her posture.]

[His eyes wondered back to her face, although he knew his own where covered. he wondered if he shouldn't take off the glasses, to help ease the tension, but he really didn't like too much light.]

"Atem, that's a interesting name, though mine isn't any better." [he said with a short laugh.] "Formally my name is Andrake, but most prefer to call me Ark, easier to remember. And some think it matches me better."

[And yes, he knew people could turn it into -ark as in bark, for that's how it sounded, but in all actuality, that was the reason why he was called Ark, but it was more of a joke nickname.]

[She's still watching carefully, tensed. She doesn't know who this person is. Added to the fact that she's headed somewhere far away from the garden, this isn't easy.]

Andrake. [She sticks to the formal with a curt nod.] Are you from the garden as well? [She figures that could be a very weird statement but she wants it out of the way now.]

[His formal name, eh? That was different, believe it or not but most choose to go by his nickname for some reason or other. He smiled, his eyebrows arching a little.]

Hm, Garden? I have been to many gardens but I have to say no if you mean our last stop. [He looked around the train.]

Actually I was trying to get somewhere completely different... I must have taken the wrong train. [Though he highly doubted it, he's lived long enough to remember at least the train schedule and numbers.] But you know, perhaps we'll be taken to a totally new place altogether. Why not ride along and find out, right?

[He glanced back to her and then offered her his hand.] Come on, let's go find a less crowded area, their should be room towards the back. [He offered in a low voice so their audience could barely hear but Atem should.]

[Not from the garden, she makes a slightly displeased face but nods nonetheless. His story is almost completely irrelevant at that point to her. She needs to get back there. Not go somewhere new.

She stares at the offered hand but doesn't take it. Getting out of this area was good but she wasn't about to hold hands with him.]

Fine. [Instead she takes the lead, sauntering away.]
