[Hey.

Look who is not pulling back in the Destiny Gundam.]

"Shinn, what are you doing?" Athrun barked over the comm channel. "I gave you the order to fall back and protect the Uzumi! Leave these things to me!"

As Athrun said that, though, some of the enemies shapeshifted into the Astrays that the other pilots were using.

"As if I'm leaving you here to die alone!" Shinn yelled over the comm as the Destiny pulled out its Anti-Ship Sword and charged forward at an Astray, smashing it clean in two.

Meanwhile, one of the Astrays had sneaked up behind the Destiny. Athrun saw it, and in one quick motion, pulled out the Infinite Justice's beam boomerang and threw it. The Astray was cut in two.

"You're not going to listen no matter how many times I tell you to return to the Uzumi, are you?" Athrun sighed. "All right. We'll cover each other until the METEOR gets here -- then I'll give you cover fire."

"Right!"

And without further ado, the Destiny throws its own pair of beam boomerangs at several of the silver probes about to assimilate his Gundam, before getting out the M2000GX cannon and firing a huge beam of lasers across the opposition's units.

Athrun, meanwhile, fired up all of the beam sabers on the Infinite Justice's backpack and disconnected it from the mobile suit itself.

"Get back!" he shouted at Shinn as the backpack took flight, carving a path through the enemy.

And Shinn does just that. Sure he might not follow orders like staying back to leave his friends comrades alone, but he does follow orders like getting away from the deadly backpack, for example.

The backpack looped back, its beam edges protecting it from assimilation, then reconnected with the Infinite Justice. That one move had taken out a sizable portion of the enemies, but it wasn't enough.

He got a signal from the Uzumi. The METEOR had been launched. "Sorry, but I'm going to duck back for a minute! Don't do anything too reckless!" The Infinite Justice flew backwards, firing its beam cannons at the enemy as it pulled back toward the weapons platform.
