Light. Light, light, light, everywhere is full of light and Darkness below, it burns. He scampers quickly across the ground on all fours, hurriedly seeking some sort of relief. The light burns and scathes and, oh, it hurts. All he can think of is finding shelter from it, but so far, he can't feel any dark to cling to. Nothing, nothing, nothing, no relief, just burning pain. Claws dig into concrete, propelling him, giving him a boost to his speed so he can get away from the more intense light to somewhere that has less light.
Finally, he comes to a stop, chest heaving and silent breath being drawn. His limbs are exhausted, his body aching, his ears ringing from the Light. He gasps, finally just pushing onward to stumble down the side alley he'd found himself in. This place... It wreaks havoc on his body and senses. What is it, and how does he leave? And where, oh, where is some sweet, reliving darkness...?
