Getting chocolate into someone's shoe locker was treated like a top secret infiltration mission. She'd had it all planned out. At 1308 hours, she would ask to use the bathroom, beg if she had to! Then Orihime would dash downstairs, avoiding the hall monitor by using the steps on the far side instead of the central stairway in the middle, sneak

Misunderstanding her intent, and being the new kid usually meaning he didn't get nice things in his locker (He still remembers the dead rat from the last school), He crept up silently behind her, when he recognised the colour of her hair. It was unusual enough in the states, really, and here it was even less common. He remembers her from some of his classes, he thinks. From the rare times he's been in them.
Not that he often cared about learning names and faces anymore. Why the hell they'd had to fly here - And that had been an experience to put him off flying, ever, which was saying something considering they had to fly back - was beyond him, but apparently they were here because an old friend called in a debt payment. And a Winchester never leaves unpaid debts he thought bitterly. After all, not only had it been a new school and new home - that was par for the course - but a new language as well. He'd learnt enough to get by (and cuss to hell and back), practised too much (he was Sam's usually unwilling language partner. Same thing happened with Latin. Supposed to be dad's job, but a lot of things were supposed to be Dad's job that Dean ended up doing. Not that having to leave the states had left him unusually bitter towards his father, not at all. Not that being bitter had meant he was no better at following orders - he still did that as perfectly as he could.) Basically, he was passable enough to keep his head down and not be marked out.
Oh, except being the new kid always marked you out.]
The hell are you doing in there?
((Because I need to stop playing him in my comfort zone of having him in the states XD))

AAAHHHH!!!!
[Good thing the hall monitor isn't currently on this floor. Orihime starts violently, going stiff as a board and jumping. She bangs the top of her wrist against the metal edge of his locker, sucking in her breath and flicking her hand from side to side in pain as she turns around.]
[...And there's the target. Mission: FAILED. She has to think fast, she can't let him assume too much too soon, or her chances will be ruined forever!]
S...secret admirer! Someone doesn't want you to know, so I was sent to deliver your valentine's day gift to maintain anonymity!
[And for some reason, she feels the need to salute. Yup, just a soldier doing her duty.]

After all, if there's one thing the same here, it's teenage girls and him, pretty much. It's (usually pretty) easy to tell which want it, and which he'd get away with having, whether it be attraction, or the idea of danger, especially if their parents found out they'd been with the new american kid.]
...right. You should try one first, Orihime. [That rack, he'd never forget the name of a chick with a rack that awesome. Because he is Dean a teenage male, and this is the first thing they notice.]

[HE'S SO NICE! Or so she thinks. So she beams her thanks, inclining her head, and carefully unties the knot of the cloth. And there are the chocolate robots. She eats one without hesitation, glad she at least got to try one.]
They're good!

We should clear out of here before you get in trouble. [And no, he doesn't mean back to class.]

Mm! Good idea!
[And then it occurs to her: what's he doing down at the shoe lockers?]
Anou...you weren't here to give someone chocolate too, were you? Guys don't do that until March 14th, that's White Day!

Absolutely priceless.
But to her, he tips a smirk, before slipping his other pair on.] Clearing out of here.

I'll go with you!

Huh. I wouldn't have put you as the skipping type. Maybe I should sue now to get to... know you a little better. [he winks at her to emphasise the innuendo.]

[She should have brought her coat, though, February isn't exactly the warmest month. The innuendo goes RIGHT over her head as she regards Dean thoughtfully. She really does like him. Besides, he just seems so lonely here...]
If you don't mind letting me run home first to get some money, we could go find a place that sells hot chocolate?
Reply
Basically... he's getting flustered.] No, no, no. I couldn't do that. I-I mean you don't need to go out of your way or anything.

[Now SHE'S leading the charge in the truancy brigade? What's happening to the world? Undaunted, she takes his hand and tugs him along.]
Besides, it's Valentine's Day, I'm supposed to treat guys to chocolate, remember? It'll be fun!
Reply
O...kay. [He allows himself to be tugged along.] You're really invested in all this valentines day crap, aren't you?
Reply
Sure! Holidays are a lot of fun, and we have a lot of them. Besides, almost everybody likes chocolate, so this is a really good one to celebrate!
[And out they go, boldly strolling along as if they're *supposed* to be outside of the school building, rather than glancing about furtively. It's cold, but at least she knows there aren't any Hollows around.]
This way! I should get my coat too while I'm there. What about you, are you warm enough?
Reply
You're not going to get caught by your parents if you go in to get it, are you? [because he doesn't know enough about her to know about her family - or lack thereof.]

[Orihime grins back at him.]
I never really knew them. My brother rescued me from them when I was only three. I'm sure they're still out there, but if so, they probably wouldn't recognize me now, ne?
