Easter was both interesting and enlightening.

A little bit weird though.

Well - that's another way of putting it.

Another way would be to say that I had no idea Katie could be that insane.

When did you get one of these journal things anyway?

Just today.

Oh - so it wasn't "the brutes" that got you? Or my mum? I apologise for her attitude, by the way. I can't give her an excuse - cause I don't know what her problem actually is.

I don't think 'the brutes' got to me. But then I just remember that I'm kind of used to their type on the field, so...

Er... which one was your mum again?

At some point, they'll er grow up and stop being overtly overprotective. Or Katie'll kick their arses. Whichever comes first.

The one married to the Irishman? The one who was banned by Katie's mum from using the stove or oven AT ALL because she can't cook? Whatsoever. Any memories coming back to you now?

Sort of. Was she the one that looked upset because Katie's mum agreed to my being her kitchen helper?

Or maybe that was the brutes who were 'upset' because their Mum seemed to like me so much. Mind you the way their Mum had this knowing look in her eye whenever she saw me and Katie together started to get a little creepy...

Oh - maybe THAT's why she didn't like you so much. She was being "usurped". Actually, she creates more work for Aunt Eleanor as opposed to less.

I think she attempted to put you on washing up duty too - but someone, I've forgotten who now, said 'no', didn't they? Or did you just sneak off?

I think I managed to sneak off. It was that or it was Katie's mum who said that since I helped with cooking I got off being put on washing up duty.

Easter seems to have become a blurry memory...

Holidays with the Bells tends to become that. You'll have to get used to it now.

I don't blame you. Wish I could have sneaked off. Seemed like all the after dinner fun was when I was washing up.
