I have really really been liking radio 104.5-- another new format for this station that was "Sunny 104-5" not too long ago. Supposedly there was a Latin materialization of this station too since the last time I'd tuned into it a year ago and now.
Now, it's like "Adult Contemp-Alternative"-- but they have so few interruptions that I never know what I'm listening to if it's new stuff. Sure, Screaming Trees, Alice in Chains, Cake, I can name that...
But they play this one song that I don't hear elsewhere that is old London-punkish but it's new &, &, rebellious & scads of fun... and then there's this other song, something about "just wanted to hold"..., again, no idea who sings this, and yet another song with ska stuff going on in there that's just brilliant, and I really ought to know some name of some new band & I know nothing....!
Unfortunately, radio1045.com's website features the last 10 songs played, which doesn't really help me because I'm invariably in my car when I hear these songs. I was really hoping for a day-long playlist. That would be very nice of them.
Alternatively, I could scribble down some of the lyrics as I'm going 15 mph over the speed limit (well, I do like to drive with no hands. it's a point of vanity at this point. even if I don't have anything necessary to do with my hands other than keep them on the wheel, I like to show off and not do so. unless it's to look for something lost in the depths of my bottomless purse, however, which is _not_ a fun thing to do & negates the whole funness of 'lookee, I can steer with my knees while I make a sandwich and read a newspaper at the same time, while all you bumpkins are doing the speedlimit and keeping your hands on the wheel- b-o-r-i-n-g!!!) & do a websearch once I got home I suppose, and eventually post a fine embedded-video entry for all y'all, and since this is a fine goal, this is what I will endeavor to do.
