The Name Game
The franchise makes us fill-in welcome (form) letters with guest names on them for each of our guests in [certain hotel points program]. That's fine, but lately I'm increasingly hesitant to use the greeting Mr. or Ms. because it seems like names are becoming increasing gender-neutral and I can't be sure of gender based upon the name.
So I thought - perfect opportunity to play a name-game with the residents of the journal!
I'll start with a list of names I know are either gender neutral, or historically attributed to one gender but are no longer guaranteed to be so. Feel free to reply with any that I may have missed, I want to see just how many we can get.
For instance:
Tracy (Morgan)
Carol (O'Connor)
(girls who go by "Chris" instead of Christine, etc)
Sean Young / Sean Penn
Stacy (Keech)
Kim
Morgan (can be male or female), such as Morgan Freeman
Drew
