I am at work (music library) and I am full of coffee.
...and a chocolate donut.
I am SERIOUSLY thinking about quitting Mervyn's. They treat me like crap.
Also, I found and applied for a job that I hope to get.
Library Clerk at the White Settlement Public Library
Sure it's not the most glamourous job in the world.... but they have the best HOURS in the world. The place is only open 33 hours a week!
They have cool weekend hours... it's closed friday and sunday, and only open for 3 hours on saturday...
And with my school schedule and all, I am only available for 25 of those hours, but it wouldn't matter if I only worked 15 of those because I would make
9 DOLLARS AN HOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woooooooooooooot.
And I already know so much about library work.... so they will se the experience I have and throw out all other applications.... except the bilingual people. They say bi-lingual is a plus, but I hope that lib. experience is more necessary.
I never thought about it, but I could be a school librarian.
The only part I would be hesitant about is library school.
More school.... ugh.
But my boss just told me that if you go full time, you can get done with it in a year and a half. hmmmm.... something to consider, because it IS a masters degree.
Well, as far as short-term life decisions go, I oughtta quit Mervyn's i think before it gets me stressed. I think I know now why I don't wanna work stores anymore.
STRESS.
I have been playing Harvest Moon for gamecube and I love it. I am making friends with everyone in hopes of getting cool things or playing more mini-games (like milk-drinking contests).
But another game I am crazy about right now is INKLINK!!!!!!!!!

it is the coolest game ever. Kelly's mom showed me it. She plays it all the time.
You are in a room with other players, and someone draws a pic and you try to guess what it is! Then when it's your turn, you draw, and others guess. You get points too if someone guesses your pic. It is soooo fun! too bad I can't play it at work because i can't download a flash player. but as soon as I get home.......(or Kelly's)
Today at work is kinda weird. My boss is an animal lover, and today she came in to find a million sticky-traps... a few with live mice stuck on em.
If there's one thing I think is distasteful for a library to have lying around, and downright cruel, it's those things. Anyway, she couldn't help but cry (animal lover)
and she tried to set one free, but it was really stuck. so the head library guy came and apologised...etc. All in all,
sticky traps suck.
