As I walked I had my eye out for a wishing stone, which is a smooth dark granite stone with a ring of white quartz around it. Finding one is about looking and about luck. Although no stone showed itself today, I am not disappointed. Why should I be? Finding what I hoped to find was not my single reason for going out today to see and to be. Another time, perhaps. The day itself was sufficient. And wishing stone or not, in hand or not, I saw what I saw and did what I did. --My Dean

studying for e&eb. pretty shitty class considering it's about one of the most insightful concepts in science. been listening to exile and guyville and republica. good music helps so much. now, it's time for a run and a return to charlotte at gourmet two. good company helps also. i will probably not find MY wishing stone today--BUT, i will have enjoyed good company, good music, and forced my good mind to pull the excitement out of a quite disorganized and unispiring set of slides. super then.
