there are two kinds of coincidence: meaningful and non-meaningful. and then there is the human capacity to make meaning. meaning arises through likening. then there is the further capacity to value that likening. then there is a further capacity to weigh those meanings according to an ethic. ethics, taken for granted, are morals. morals lay down the line! it's an egoistic thing. through that ring of making i become. what shall i make of myself? through you, i make of myself. tell me who you are and i shall be. should there be another way, it is at sea, alone.
