I'm back from one of the most unique experiences in my all life.
We went to watch
"The Demons", a Peter Stein's play based on Dostoevskij's novel.
We got into the theatre yesterday morning at 11:00am and we got out at 11:00pm. 12 hours play. The first time in my life for such a thing.
Stunning, just stunning.
We were caught into the story after the first two hours, and then we just became part of it, even if there was no actual interaction between the actors and us. No-one in the public left his seat, from the beginning to the end, no-one was even a bit tired after 12 hours.
At the end, there was a ten minutes - at least - round of applause for the cast (one the greatest Italian casts I've ever seen) and the director.
And we found ourselves talking with the actors for a long while after the play, out of the theatre, just like we were friends since a life.
As I said, stunning.
I'll never forget it.
