"The Cavaliers' offensive line manhandled the Tar Heels' defensive front, opening big holes for Lundy and fullback Jason Snelling as Virginia put together scoring drives of 77, 68, 97, 79, 90 and 47 yards." Our defense kicked ass too.
We absolutely FUCKED UP UNC. 56-24, altho we actually dominated more than the final score suggests. It was 21-0 until some point in the second quarter, then the backups started going in when the lead was out of reach. We were on like the 1 yard line when we just let the clock run out so it could have easily been 63-24. We didn't even punt the ball away or turn it over until the fourth quarter. That was the most fun to watch game I've ever seen in my life. Sooooo many amazing plays that a Sportscenter segment would never do it justice. Scott stadium was alive and on its feet the whole damn time. The attendance of 62,790 was the second highest ever. Thank god for division 1A sports here. We set a new return record, helped by a FULL 100 YARD KICKOFF RETURN by Marquis Weeks and another one by Alvin Pearman for 93. Incredible. Hagans was on his game, I don't know his exact completion numbers but if you were really interested you'd look them up anyway. Suffice it to say they were good. He also had a couple insane scrambles for big gains that didn't even make sense they were so silly. So pumped up right now.
