Saw Resident Evil: Retribution this morning at the first available screening, since it didn't screen for critics, and we need a review up for the site. I guarantee you I made zero eye contact with "It doesn't end here, there will be a sequel" guy, who started his lecture in the dark and continued it while I engaged entirely with the credits and my notes.

How weird.  Resident Evil is no Batman, in that everybody is fairly familiar with it, but there HAVE been tons of movies and games and so on, so I wonder why you had such a pop culture ignorant aura around you.

Also, I disagree with all of those guys.  Every damn RE movie ends with a big cliffhanger, talking about a big fight to come.

The cynical side of my brain says that it's not what's on your face, it's what's on your chest. Because you're female, and obviously females couldn't possibly understand Resident Evil because dis game iz fur boyz.
