I did it!
Julia was an angel last night. For the first time EVER, she grabbed at her crib bars and said "Julia sleeping." I put her in her crib and she said "Mommy sleeping," because she wanted me to lie down on the floor beside her (not sure I like this new bossiness and also not sure how not to give in, since she can now jump out of her crib...). She fell asleep after about 10 mins.
That meant I got to go out!!! Woohoo! That was 2 nights of going out in a row for me.
I lost my earring (touched my ear and it fell out) at the intermission and everyone helped me look for it. No luck. Halfway through the second set I looked at the floor and there it was! Everybody cheered.
The band did an AMAZING rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow using a saw, a bow, bells, etc. It almost brought tears to my eyes (would have and could have if I'd wanted it to).
I dropped Julia off at the babysitter's today, because I'm going to get my haircut. I think I'm going to get bangs, because I've noticed I have started developing some forehead wrinkles. Aren't I too young for that?!?!!? Oh well, at least they can be hidden!
I was very happy at hockey on Friday when the goalie from the other team said, "You look really young to be married with a child." She was 26 and she thought I was 23!!!! Score!
