NUNAVUT TURNS 5 today!
I just found out about the Al-Queda(spelling????) bombings in the train stations in Spain on Monday, and they happened on March 11! How sad I am? I can't believe how out of touch I am with the world. And I also feel bad that it happened, of course. But I feel bad because I manage to stay on top of the Celebrity news, what the best selling movies and cds are, and who has done what or said what in US Weekly or the latest edition of In Touch. I was all over 'Nipplegate' when it happened ( Poor Janet - and why does Justin TImberlake think Janet it hot? Obviously she doesn't do anything but liposuction her abs.. she's like 10 operations away from being up there with Cher and Michael Jackson). Man, I wonder if there are any celebrity gossip lj communities that I can join...
But its not that I don't try at all to keep up with Current affairs - I watch the CP24 and Breakfast television at least a few times a week. Oh well.......
soon I will be done exams and I can leave this 'res bubble' .......
Also, Latte Tuesday was good. I got a XL Banana Chocolate iced latte. Yummy, but only have like 3 latte tuesdays left and then I'll be up in Iqaluit and will have to make due with Iced Capps from Mean Jeans ( how do you spell it again?)
Also this April Fool's day ended at lunch and no one played any tricks on anyone. It was my last April Fool's day as a teenager....... sniff sniff.
