Hey what is up people?
I know that most of you will have barely had time to finish reading my last entry, but too bad here is another one.
Well I guess I will start where I left off on February 14. That was a good day. I visited Naya in Ottawa, and tried to surpirse her (she thought I was coming on Monday), but I think she kind of hoped I would show up anyways. That trip was good, SO GOOd infact.
A bit later on Naya visited for a semi formal in Guelph. It was fun, although drinks were served in 5 of the 7 rooms, so I was confined to the main dancing area and the Karaoke lounge. Naya wore her dress that I bought her and it looked great. Unfortunately, I can't even remember the name of the formal.. it was so long ago. It is on the verge of my memory...
Also Megan came to visit me. We had a lot of fun. Britany also joined us, it was good times. We dressed up as red hoodie ppl and scowered the halls of res. We also took dirty pictures that none of us remember taking???
Exams were fun. Well not really. But they went even better than last semesters. I ended up with an 84 in biology, a 87 in Chemistry, a 96 in Spanish, and 98 in statistics and a 98 in physics. I was pleased .... 92.6 average. I was also really excited to leave rez. Except that I had a lot more clothing than I realized and has to mail up 3 boxes of stuff that wouldn't fit into 2 oversized hockey bags.
The airline ppl also charged me $150 for overweight baggage - a travesty!
But before I went to Iqaluit, I visited New York and saw my cousin and aunt and uncle. I saw the Metropolitan Museum of art and it was tons of fun. Just wandering around by myself checking out these amazing famous paintings. I loved the impressionist section. Monet and van Gogh are my favs! I also loved the iced mochacinnos at Starbucks, but I suppose they exist in Canada as well.
NOw I am back in Iqaluit and the summer is half over. Which is sad, but I am also really excited to move into my townhouse with my three coolest rez mates ever, Corey, Jenny, and Carrie. We are going to be one tight household. I want to buy a George Foreman Grill .. imagine the possibilities. We are going to have sunday dinners and waffles for breakfast, sing songs to each other in the shower.. you know fun housemate stuff.
Right now I am working as Budget Analyst for the department of Finance. Life is good. Lots of money from working lots. But I stay grounded as the amounts roll in...
Next weekend is my great friend and advice girl Megan Levy's big 20th Birthday bash. It is one continuous party extravaganza that begins on Friday and continues until her real birthday on Monday. I can't wait!
Then on Tuesday a week from now I fly down to Ontario and visit some relatives as well as my uni friends. Also some major shopping to be had! One week until I am reunited with one of my best friends, the Cinnabun Mochalatta Chill. yum...
