Here's the five given to me from

1. Megaman
Oh man, where to BEGIN with this one. Well, we can skip the whole "I'd known about Megaman for years but never could/never did play any of it"... Actually, that's pretty much the whole start xDD ANYWAY. My real exposure didn't begin until the Rockman.EXE anime dub first began airing here in the US. This was what, 2002? 2003? Whichever; although I caught a couple episodes here and there, my interest wasn't really peaked and I stopped watching, to forget about the whole experience a little while later.
That is, until 2005 hit and the third season, Axess, began to air. It came into my life at a very opportune time. I'd just lost someone who'd done my psyche a lot of damage (although I wouldn't acknowledge it until later) and I needed something new, something fresh, something we HADN'T shared because things that we had felt tainted. Enter Megaman. This was something from my childhood, and in regards to EXE it was something Jerkoff and I didn't have together. It appealed to all of my interests in things mechanical and digital, and I was HOOKED. From that one spark I went into the Megaman fandom full force and have no plans to leave anytime soon.
I've done this song and dance before, actually XD If you want to read more about me and Megaman, just check your local library
click here, it should take you to the How of CB and Megaman., which is essentially the expanded edition of the above with a little more psychology thrown in.
2. Code Lyoko
Hah, this is another "Where to start" one. Well, I think my big interest in Code Lyoko was seeded waaaayy back when, when I first started to get interested in French culture as a wee youngin'. I have no doubt that would influence me later on. Anyway, like Megaman above, Code Lyoko applied to my interests-- digital things, computers, technology and shinies --plus, the characters were awesome. Like Megaman, it was also something new that Jerkoff and I didn't share. I grabbed onto it and held it close, even to this day (even if sometimes it no longer seems like it). Hell, even my LJ name is CL-inspired, in a sense: "kuna" is the username I used on a short-lived stint at CL.com's official forums, and "emie" is the name of my original OC (who lives on only in this username, since I use Izz now). I still love all the development in the series, the voices, the personalities... There's a CL shirt I want to make, and I just know I'd still be wearing it ten, twenty years down the line.
3. Writing
You know, funny thing is, if I were directly asked what I was I'd say "artist" not "writer". I don't consider myself a writer, and I barely churn out any fics. And yet I write, and people love my fics. Oh sure, I don't have any sort of wide fanbase- in fact, I'm pretty sure it's just seven people XDXD But they love them all the same, and will gobble up any WIPs or finished fics I throw their way. I'm not sure why. My writing isn't really all that smooth and I have problems with descriptive terms. And yet... I will admit, I enjoy writing, even if I have an easier time expressing myself with art.
...Oh god that sounded so stupid x_X
4. Cats
I love cats. Does that count? XDXD Okay, maybe a bit more... Well, I own a cat I frequently talk about; I am getting to be known among select groups for being "that girl who works at Spencers who wears the cat ears" (okay so it's really an Inuyasha hat, but most don't know the difference between Inu ears and cat ears), and I will even frequently mew in my speech, usually around closeclose friends.
Huh. Maybe I was a cat in a past life. XD
5. Humor
Perhaps this is why it is man alone who laughs: he alone suffers so deeply that he had to invent laughter.--Friedrich Nietzsche
She knew what all smart women knew: Laughter made you live better and longer.--Gail Parent
That is all.
