I've seen secrets that are pretty much nothing more than "This person sucks" with no information or context. Why are these not labeled personal attacks?

Personal attacks, in our definition, go beyond RP to RL circumstances. If someone simply "sucks," it is different from a secret that discusses a person's real life circumstances ("just because your grandfather died of cancer..."). In most cases, we take the liberty to assume that the OP of the secret meant something along the lines of "This person sucks [at RPing, so get out of the game.]"

Your lax definition of 'personal attacks' is the main reason RP!S is such a wankhole. If you like modding a wankhole, that's great I guess?

It's also the balance RP!S straddles. When we originally picked up the community from the original team, we made a move to cut out screencap secrets to cut down on wank. The community as a whole was largely opposed to this.

Yes, RP!S is a wankhole, but it could and has been worse. Our policies are what we've found after a year of moderating, straddle the line between the outlet our submitters and their readers want and common lines of decency.

In regards to asking when the next anonmeme is, it's better to send a pm (now to either me or anon_rp_meme. Or else leave it on a post for either of us to find. Currently, we're working on taking the anon meme community suggestion and making it a reality for the next anon meme. Never fear anons, we'll let you know the details when it gets closer as we were thinking of holding the next one somewhere around the holidays. :)

Are you two working together now? Do we need to stalk both your journals or just yours? Are memes going to be concurrent or one-on-yours, one-on-anon_rp_meme's, and so forth?

Oh, oops, sorry, just actually read your post properly. That community sounds awesome.

For now I guess you can stalk us both since we'll eventually announce the community. I'll ask when we plan on unveiling it, etc. And yes, we will be working together on it.

Nothing wrong with asking questions though. ♥

In 7, you failed to address namedropping in comments where the comment is positive (ie. someone asks for the username of a character they're interested in in the secret) and the reply containing the username isn't deleted or frozen. In what cases are those allowed?

That's right. We will look to edit this to reflect that. We generally allow this when the secret and its reception is positive.
