[What a fool Gabranth has been to think that he had truly escaped the cycle of war. He's not sure if he ever really thought it, but he must have at least hoped for it to be true, else he would not feel such crushing disappointment upon finding himself once more at the gates of hell.
But for what reason has he retained his memories of the last cycle-and not only that, but of all else he encountered from his time in the shifting worlds?
It's worth asking, he decides, no matter how dubious this "magic book" may be.]
If there are those who can truly see this message- Might anyone know just what has happened? Has the wyrm been called once more? Have the gods played any part in this farce of "shifting worlds"?
